This hard hat meets with ANSI Z89.1-2014, Type I, Classes E (Electrical) and G (General). This is a hard hat that provides protection against such hazards as falling objects overhead, electrical shock and UV radiation. The MSA full brim cap is tested to provide protection from a force that is approximately the equivalent to a 16 oz. hammer dropping from 40 feet. The polyethylene shell is easy to wipe off. Meets with ANSI Z89.1-2014 standards.
